Anthony David Gonzalez was a tight end in American football, who was a part of the National Football League. He spent 17 years in the field. He is considered among the greatest tight ends of all time. In addition to being the NFL's leader for receiving yards, as well as the third place in total receptions, Gonzalez was one of the NFL tight end with the highest number of receptions.
Tony Gonzalez, a former Kansas City Chiefs All-Pro and Atlanta Falcons All-Pro Tight End currently works as a FOX Sport Studio analyst. Gonzalez, who has been with FOX NFL KICKOFF since the past year, is host of the program. The show airs on Sunday at 11:15 am ET, before FOX NFL SUNDAY.
Gonzalez's claims of retiring in the NFL at the end of 2013 was not true. On March 15 2013 Gonzalez was signed by the Falcons an agreement for two years worth 14 million dollars. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player of active receiving yards for his final season.
